Cowboy Pools® Equipment Protection Plan Terms and Conditions:
Equipment or parts that fail as a result of a manufacturing defect during the first year from purchase period will be either repaired and/or replaced at the sole discretion of Cowboy Pools™ and at no charge to the original purchaser. Parts which are found defective during this period, except as a result of freezing, flood, fire, accident, lightning, negligence, improper use, or care, shall be repaired or replaced, at our option.
The protection plan set forth herein is void if the product is repaired or altered in any way by any persons, agents, or representatives other than those authorized hereunder. This Cowboy Pools EPP extends solely to the original purchaser of the product on the date of purchase and is not transferable. Equipment must be purchased at www.cowboypools.com.
Cowboy Pools EPP coverage applies to residential customer purchases only. This includes short term rental owners of residential properties. All manufacturers’ warranty exceptions remain in full force and effect.
For any parts and equipment that are covered under the Hayward 1-year warranty, we will send you a pre-filled form to email to Hayward to dispatch help with your Hayward issue. For all parts that are not covered under Hayward’s warranty,
What parts are covered?
Filter and pump including all parts and hosing is covered for 1 year from purchase from Cowboy Pools™. Wear and tear on parts not included. Hoses, seals, gauges, baskets, and O-rings are covered for defects in materials and workmanship for 30 days from the date of purchase.
Residential at-home service labor is not covered
Damage caused by user error (ie. misuse of the system or negligence) is not covered under these plans. Cowboy Pools™ reserves the right to determine if any damage is caused by user error and which items fall under accessories and add-ons.
Unapproved Modifications: If the customer makes modifications to the pool outside of our recommended setup or without notifying Cowboy Pools, those repairs may not be included.
Intentional or Negligent Damage: Damage caused by improper use or failure to maintain the pool may not be covered.
Process:
In order to obtain the benefits of this Cowboy Pools EPP, the original purchaser of the product must complete a service request form, as found at https://www.cowboypools.com/pages/contact-repairs as soon as possible after a discovery of the defect, but in no event later than the expiration date of the protection period.
Proof of purchase is required for Product Protection service. To obtain service or repair, please contact the place of purchase or the nearest authorized Hayward warranty service center.
Cowboy Pools is not responsible for any cost of shipping or transportation of the equipment or parts thereof to or from the service representative. Cowboy Pools is not liable for any loss of time, inconvenience, incidental expenses such as telephone calls, travel costs, labor or material charges incurred in connection with the removal or replacement of the equipment or any other incidental or consequential damages. For warranty validation and services, the original purchaser must retain this certificate, along with serial number of parts in question and proof of purchase from Cowboy Pools.
We reserve the right to raise the price of EPP's or cancel coverage at any time.
